To get to Marui Kitasenju, take the JR lines to the North Exit, then head to the West Exit. You'll see it when you come out onto the pedestrian deck.
You can also reach it from the West Exit of Kitasenju Station, regardless of whether you take the subway or a private railway.
You'll probably spot it right away when you exit the West Exit, so you should be able to get to Marui without getting lost.
And what we're introducing this time is the rooftop plaza on the 12th floor of Marui. It's a rather popular area, and you can even see ○○ from the benches!
First, take the elevator in the Marui building to the 12th floor~.

Here's the information. The opening hours are from 11:00 to 16:00.
However, according to the official website, it is only open from the beginning of April to the end of November, and may be closed depending on the weather, so please be careful.

Ta-da, I've come out to the plaza!
The neatly maintained lawn area is just the right space for children to run around!

There is also a flower bed, and there were many benches around where you can sit and rest!
The scenery is also great, perfect for a break in Kitasenju~. Oh, and what's that tower in the distance...?

Wow, you can sit and admire the Tokyo Skytree!
The fence is a bit in the way, but let's relax here and enjoy the scenery.
By the way, regarding the Tokyo Skytree, I also recommend the following benches, so please check them out!

And when I went to the back of the plaza, I found some nice-looking tables and chairs!
The point is that there's a tarp on top of the tables, so you can take a break while avoiding direct sunlight and rain.
Also, the brickwork on the tarp supports is stylish.

It's also recommended as a place to eat your takeout lunch in Kitasenju, and it's easy to use for families with children!
Take a break at these tables with your mom friends!
Of course, it might be nice to take it easy on a date in Kitasenju.

You might think there are only benches on the 12th floor, but there are also chairs lined up inside.
It's a spacious and quiet space, so take a break here if you get tired outside.

There are not many high-rise buildings around, and it was a rest area with a good view and a sense of openness.
By the way, the rooftop plaza in Kitasenju has a rival... its name is "Lumine Kitasenju 10F Rooftop Plaza"!
Marui has a good view and solid tables and chairs, but Lumine is characterized by being more spacious and less crowded.
If you want to take a break or eat a boxed lunch in Kitasenju, please consider it as well!
So, why not use it as a place to rest and sit down in Kitasenju with a nice view, or while you're shopping at Marui?
