The vast Kanazawa Castle Park is free to enter! Within the park, you'll find partially reconstructed turrets and gates, allowing you to catch a glimpse of the splendor of the Kaga million-kokum domain.
Please note that during the winter season, the park hours are shorter, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Also, the park is usually illuminated on weekends and holidays, so you can enjoy it until 9:00 PM.
The Ishikawa Gate is still standing, and photographs taken of it from outside the park are often used to introduce Kanazawa Castle. It truly is the face of the castle!
Within the grounds of Kanazawa Castle Park, a walking path is located near the turrets, where you can stroll along.
