Along the seaside of Akashi, you'll find the former Homanzaki Lantern Hall (Akashi Port Old Lighthouse), an old lighthouse from the Edo period, where you can sit and relax.
This old lighthouse has been restored in recent years, and it is said to be the second oldest existing lighthouse in Japan.
It no longer functions as a lighthouse.
