You can access the Akashi River embankment near Akashi Ohashi Bridge on National Route 2, about a 5-minute walk from Nishi-Shinmachi Station. Renovation work on the Akashi River embankment is scheduled to continue intermittently until 2028, and the embankment on the east side (towards Akashi Station) seems to be accessible between June and October. Please be aware of snakes when using the area, as there are signs warning of them.
