Akabane Station is conveniently located, and it seems to have gained popularity recently, possibly influenced by manga.
The drinking street with the red lanterns in front of the East Exit of Akabane Station is cheap and great, isn't it?
Now, if you go straight from the East Exit of Akabane Station, past the bus rotary, you'll find the LaLa Garden shopping street, also known as Suzuran-dori Shopping Street.

The intersection with the main street, Higashi-hondori, marks the entrance to the arcade street.
Personally, I thought the name LaLa Garden wasn't very fitting for a shopping street (lol)

And, if you continue down Suzuran-dori Shopping Street towards Akabane-iwabuchi Junior High School, you'll see the Daiei Akabane store, AEON Food Style.
There's a place to sit and rest right next to the entrance of Daiei!

There were five benches, each with three seats.
You can see people eating lunch boxes and snacks purchased from Daiei, or just taking a break.
The best part is that it's an arcade street, so you can rest and avoid the rain and direct sunlight!

There are also table seats and deck chairs in the back.
The arrangement of these chairs... is unique. It's like something you'd see for sunbathing at the beach (lol)
I wonder if there was another table there once.

There are tables, so it's convenient to remember this place as a resting spot for families and a place to eat lunch boxes in Akabane.
However, please note that drinking alcohol is prohibited.
Since the Daiei supermarket is right in front, I think it's easy to use for families with children.
It's a good place to use when you want to take a break while shopping at the Suzuran Shopping Street!
So, why not take a break at this resting spot in Akabane while you're shopping at Daiei?
