When you think of Akabanebashi, you probably imagine the Tokyo Tower and Shiba Park, right?
Well, the area around Tokyo Tower is actually quite green, and there are plenty of spots where you can relax.
Today, I'm going to introduce you to Higashi-Azabu Children's Park, which is right next to Tokyo Tower Studio, just a stone's throw from Tokyo Tower!
To get to Higashi-Azabu Children's Park, take the Akabanebashi exit from Akabanebashi Station and head north on Sakurada-dori. You'll find it in front of Shinkoin Temple, just past the Maruetsu supermarket.
And guess what? Higashi-Azabu Children's Park has benches where you can sit and take a break!

It's a small plaza located on the way up a steep hill towards Tokyo Tower.
The ground is covered with gravel, providing a space where children can run around a bit.
There are temples nearby, making it a quiet area with fewer tourists.

There are five benches, each with three seats, and a water fountain is also available.
The benches are kept in relatively good condition, and when you sit and look up, you'll be treated to the impressive view of the Tokyo Tower!

There are no playground equipment, and compared to the nearby Shiba Park, this children's park doesn't have many special features...
However, hardly anyone was there even on Sundays, making it a perfect spot if you want to relax in peace.
It's also a great place to enjoy a packed lunch near Tokyo Tower.
By the way, on your way to the children's park, be sure to check out the "Shiba Park No. 18 Square Bench" as it has many spacious and relaxing benches!
So, why not give it a try as a relaxing spot near Akabanebashi Station?
