Hello! Today, we're exploring the Showa-dori Exit on the Hibiya Line side of Akihabara. It's on the opposite side from the Electric Town Exit!
Many of you might use this area to transfer to the Toei Shinjuku Line, or perhaps head to the Shosen Book Tower.
And guess what? Just past the stairs leading to the Hibiya Line underground, there's a park where you can sit and take a break!

There are three single-person stools and bench-style seating around the trees.
You'll find it right in front of the Janpara No. 4 store.
I've passed by here countless times, but I never knew this was Akihabara Park! How about you?
This is a completely non-smoking rest area and is often used as a meeting spot in Akihabara.
Unfortunately, there are no playground equipment here.
Also, there's a share-cycle stand in Akihabara Park, and it looks like you can use it starting from 150 yen for 30 minutes.

There are kettle-shaped stools with wooden seats.
I wondered if they were disaster-prevention chairs, but I wasn't sure.
This spot is perfect if you want to sit and take a break on the Showa-dori side of Akihabara.
It's also a great place to quickly eat a bento box or onigiri near Akihabara Station!
So, why not give it a try as a place to rest around Akihabara Station?
