Akihabara UDX is a complex office building that houses restaurants, conference facilities, and event spaces.
You'll often see them setting up what looks like interesting events through the glass windows in front of the deck (laughs).
To get to Akihabara UDX, go from the JR Electric Town Exit ticket gates toward the taxi stand and the Gundam Cafe, and go up the outdoor escalator.

The high-rise building of Akihabara UDX and its large vision screen will catch your eye.
Once you reach the front entrance, go to the left!

...But you might be wondering where the rest spots are, so let me quickly introduce the floor map of UDX 2F!
To the right is Akihabara Station, and to the left is the area around UDX. There are places where you can sit and take a break near the area circled in red!

As you go to the left, you'll see the escalator leading to UDX 4F.
In front of this is...

There's a wooden deck where about 25 people can sit and take a break!
Since there are ornamental plants like Goldcrest, if you're worried about what's behind you like Golgo 13, you can sit near the planters.

I wanted to show you the whole picture of this deck, so I went up to the upper floors of Akihabara UDX and took a picture.
I hope you can see how spacious it is!? It's quite relaxing, isn't it?

It's a relaxing spot in Akihabara where you can take a break, even though it's surrounded by buildings.
Warriors exhausted from the holiday battles were sitting there at equal intervals.
You can also use the steps as a place to eat your lunch in Akihabara!

I visited in November, and the illumination of the trees in front of UDX is beautiful.
It's an excellent deck that could also function as a date spot in Akihabara.
You can take a break in a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of in front of Akihabara Station.

When you go down to the lower level, it's like a townscape reminiscent of Christmas.
The deck space is spacious, so it's a good rest spot in Akihabara for families to use.

It's also great for playing games or chatting with friends on the deck.
It is also a suitable place for job hunting and handling phone calls in Akihabara.
It can also be used as a meeting place in Akihabara.
It's outdoors, so unfortunately there's no protection from rain or sunlight, but it's convenient to remember as a rest area in the Electric Town area.
Also, the "Akihabara UDX 2F JR side deck" located nearby is highly recommended, so please stop by!
If you are in UDX, please also visit "Akihabara UDX 4F LIFORK," a recently created rest spot.
So, why not use Akihabara UDX and the surrounding area as a place to take a break while you're at it?
