To get to Hanakawado Park, take the subway or the Tobu Asakusa Line to Asakusa Station, then head towards the Nitenmon Gate of Senso-ji Temple on the main street. Turn right at the Nitenmon-mae intersection towards the Sumida River, and you'll see it.
If you're coming from Kaminarimon Gate, go through Nakamise Shopping Street, pass through Hozomon Gate, and you'll see Nitenmon Gate on your right. Go straight after passing through the Nitenmon Gate, and you'll find the park.
Hanakawado Park is divided into two areas, north and south, by the approach to the temple. There's a seating area within the northern part of the park, towards the Senju direction.

There are two areas with six single-seater stone benches around the trees in the park, accommodating a total of 12 people.
The seating isn't particularly comfortable, but the advantage is its proximity to Senso-ji Temple.
It's a 2-minute walk from Nitenmon Gate, making it a convenient spot to take a break from the crowds around Senso-ji Temple.
You might enjoy buying some sweets nearby and relaxing in this park.
Please note that the southern part of the park doesn't have seating; it's a plaza where free markets are held regularly.
Also, the area with playground equipment is enclosed by iron fences. This is a common sight in parks in the city center.
Why not use it as a resting spot when you're in the Asakusa Station area?
