From the familiar Kaminarimon gate, through Nakamise-dori shopping street, and to the right before the Hozomon gate, heading towards Asakusa Station, you'll find the public restroom on the east side.
And right in front of the public restroom, there's a plaza with benches where you can sit and take a break.

Many wooden benches are set up here, making it perfect for taking a break while visiting Senso-ji Temple.
The rest area has a green roof, which acts as a sunshade even on days with strong sunlight.
It might get wet on rainy days.
Also, there are vending machines around the benches, so it's a good idea to stay hydrated if you visit during the summer.
However, it gets crowded on weekends and holidays, so you might also want to consider the "Rest area with benches near the Nitenmon Gate of Senso-ji Temple" which is nearby.
So, how about using this spot as a place to sit and relax around Asakusa Station?
