Near Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro and Tobu lines, you'll find the Sumida River, and along the riverside from Azumabashi Bridge to near Sakurabashi Bridge is a park called "Sumida Park".
There are benches dotted throughout Sumida Park and along the riverside.

Benches with beautiful night views of the Sumida River. A great date spot in Asakusa.

Benches where you can have the night view of Tokyo Skytree all to yourself.

It's interesting that there are also artistic benches.
"GENDAI TAITO SUMIDA Sghitseeing Art Project", or GTS for short!

These are the people involved in the production of the GTS benches. It's public art and it's wonderful, isn't it?

Here's a stool with engravings of Asakusa buildings, such as Senso-ji Temple.
It's a bit sad that there's a can of beer there.
Also, there is an indoor "Sumida Park Rest Area" nearby, so please consider it as well.
Why not use it as a resting place near Asakusa Station?
