"The confluence of the Kanda River and the Myoshoji River"
A short walk from the station will bring you to Takadabashi Bridge and Takato Bridge.

There are several stools near the Kanda River on both bridges.

This is a view of the Takadanobaba Floodway from above.
The Kanda River and the Myoshoji River used to meet at Ochiai, but flooding was frequent, so the Takadanobaba Floodway was constructed as a countermeasure. The Myoshoji River joins the Kanda River at the Takadanobaba Floodway.

This area intersects Meiji-dori Street and Shin-Mejiro-dori Street, so traffic is heavy, but there are also spots where you can take a break.

Stools where you can spend time while pondering the Kanda River.

The positions of the bridges in the floodway are depicted.

If you love the Kanda River, why not visit?
So, how about using these spots around Gakushūin-shita Station as resting places?
