It's a device that melds the memories of people sitting, the places they sat, and the passage of time from the past to the present and into the future.

It looks like about four people can sit on either side. It's been a while since I've seen public art that you can actually sit on, like the one in Tachikawa!

There's also an artful pergola and bench.
You can relax while listening to the sound of the water.
