"Bakeries and Hidden Benches"
If you walk from Kuramae Station towards Kuramae Bridge, you'll find KURAMAE JP Terrace.

KURAMAE JP Terrace. It's located right behind the Kuramae Police Station.
I visited on a holiday, and it was a hidden gem because it wasn't very noticeable, and there was no one there.
Wow, I didn't know this place existed.

The white wall displays the family crest of the Okura Shubi pine.

The terrace extends further back, and there are stone benches along the wall.

Gabion benches made by stacking stones.
The seating surface is smooth.

Around here, there used to be many Asakusa Okura, where the shogunate stored rice, which is how Kuramae got its name. I see.

By the way, next door is JP Building, which houses the Lion headquarters.

The benches here were also lovely. There are many benches, making it perfect for a break while strolling around Kuramae.

And there's a stylish bakery at the entrance to the terrace.
TRASPARENTE La Cartolina

Of course, I bought some bread and enjoyed it deliciously while relaxing on a bench.
So, why not consider using this area as a place to rest while you're in the Kuramae Station area?
