"A Temple with a Lawn"
Kogen-ji Temple is located a short walk from Hon-Komagome Station towards Komagome Gakuen.

Founded in 1589, this is a Jodo sect temple. Although it was destroyed in the Great Tokyo Air Raid, the Kannon statue was rebuilt in 1993, and the garan (temple buildings) were completed in 2006.

A lawn at a temple! I think it's quite unusual.

There were two benches where you could take a breather under the eaves.

The collaboration of cherry blossoms and Japanese style was beautiful.
Also, there are restrooms and a park nearby.
So, why not consider using it as a place to sit and relax around Hon-Komagome Station?
