From the Mojiko side of the Kanmon Tunnel Pedestrian Entrance, there's a plaza under the bridge piers along the coast after you pass through the shrine.

It's a plaza right under the bridge!

There are benches right under the powerful Kanmon Bridge.

It looks like this!

You can also just sit and watch the ships go by.

The Kanmon Strait, which extends from the torii gate of the nearby Mekari Shrine, is so "emo" (evokes a strong emotional response).

So, why not use this area as a place to take a break and sit down near Norfolk Square Station?
