I've come to the Moji side of the Kanmon Tunnel Pedestrian Tunnel, which is quite exciting.

At the end of the pedestrian tunnel, there's an exhibition space with 16 stools.

These are the stools where you'll likely take a breather after finally emerging from the underwater tunnel.

It's National Route 2. It's hot!

The prefectural border between Fukuoka and Yamaguchi prefectures is in the underwater tunnel!
But once you get this far, you'll probably want to go all the way to Shimonoseki...

So, why not use the area around Kanmonkaikyo Mekari Station as a relaxing rest stop?
