"Also Enjoying the View of the Kanmon Strait"
Kameyama Hachimangu Shrine is a short walk from Karato Market.

As you pass through the large torii gate, you'll find a magnificent Hachiman shrine.
It is famous as Kameyama-sama, the guardian deity of the area.

There are benches in front of the main hall, and the view from here is wonderful. The autumn leaves are also beautiful.

There's also a playground next door.

There are benches, slides, and swings too.

Turtles! Fitting, since it's Kameyama Hachimangu Shrine, right!?!

There's also the largest fugu (pufferfish) statue in Japan.

The torii gate set against the backdrop of the Kanmon Strait is also wonderful.
So, why not use this spot as a relaxing break near Norfolk Square Station?
