"Urban Spring Water and Valleys"
Shimizudani Park is located a short walk from Nagatacho or Kojimachi Station towards the Hotel New Otani.

A healing park in the city.
The location is a cliff from Garden Terrace Kioicho.

You can also walk to this spot from the Garden Terrace, where the residences of the Kishu Tokugawa, Owari Tokugawa, and Ii families once stood. Kioicho is the name derived from the initials of these families.

You can relax here, even though you are in the city, thanks to the carpet of autumn leaves.

There are stools at the edge of the plaza, so you can have your lunch there.

Buildings and autumn leaves.

There is a Shinji Pond.

The rock stools by the Shinji Pond are great for relaxing.
It is said that spring water came out from the boundary of the mansion, hence the name Shimizudani (Clear Water Valley).

There is also a well monument of the Tamagawa Josui.
So, why not visit this area around Kojimachi Station as a place to take a break?
