"Bentenjima, Mythology, and More"
Inasa no Hama Beach is just a 15-minute walk from Izumo Taisha Shrine.
The best way to get there is by taking a bus towards the lighthouse from Izumoshi Station, or by getting off at the Izumo Taisha Bus Terminal and walking. It's about a 25-minute walk from Izumo Taisha-mae Station, so it might feel a bit far.

Inasa no Hama Beach.
It is believed that visiting Inasa no Hama Beach first and then exchanging sand with the Susano-sha shrine at Izumo Taisha Shrine will bring you good luck.

At Inasa no Hama Beach, there are four three-seater benches and an Azumaya (covered rest area).

From the benches, you can enjoy a luxurious view of Bentenjima Island and Oki-no-miya Shrine.

Bentenjima Island. You can walk along the sandy beach to get closer.

When the wind is strong, the sand on the beach can get all over you, so it might be nice to relax in the Azumaya.
So, why not use these spots as resting areas around Izumo Taisha-mae Station?
