SensCity Tower is a 23-story high-rise building next to Sogo Chiba, and it's a landmark of Chiba Station.
One notable feature is the passport office on the 4th floor!
By the way, the name "SensCity" comes from the address, which is 1000, in Japanese.
So, I went to the outdoor terrace of SensCity Tower, which is accessible from the 4th floor of Sogo.

The outdoor terrace on the 4th floor of SensCity Tower is an area where the Chiba Urban Monorail passes dynamically, making it a fun spot for kids who love trains!
I visited after the rain at night, so the photos might not be the best, but please keep that in mind (lol)

On the 4th floor of SensCity Tower, you'll find the entrance and exit to Chiba Station for the Chiba Urban Monorail.
I visited at night, and there weren't many people using it.

And, there are places where you can sit and take a break on the 4th floor terrace of SensCity Tower!
There are wooden benches for two people scattered around.
There are also trash cans, so it seems like a good place to eat a bento box from Chiba Station.

Also, there are vending machines and benches near the outdoor smoking area of SensCity Tower.
It looks a bit dark, but I think it's a little better during the daytime.

It's a space like a plaza with benches, so it seems like a good place to meet up or gather with a group at Chiba Station.
Also, if you want a break indoors, "Sogo Main Building 1F SensCity Tower entrance" is recommended because it's usually available!
So, why not use it as a place to take a break and relax around Chiba Station?
