You'll find the Ekimae Post Office, a short walk straight down the shopping street from the north exit of Chitose-Funabashi Station.
Even though it's called "Ekimae," which means "in front of the station," it's actually a little ways off.

There's a two-person bench in front of the post office.
It seems to also be used as a bicycle parking area, so it might not be the most relaxing spot, but it could be a good place to meet up if you're using the post office.
Also, there's the coffee shop "Paoon" and the "Izumo Sen" store, which sells Kabuki Age rice crackers, nearby, so be sure to check them out too ♪
So, why not consider using this area around Chitose-Funabashi Station as a place to take a seat and relax?
