Futako Tamagawa Rise is a large shopping mall that surrounds Futako-Tamagawa Station, with facilities extending from the front of the station ticket gates along the Tama River.
Each area has a name: "Shopping Center, Dogwood Plaza, Oak Mall, Birds Mall, and Plaza Mall."
Furthermore, the shopping center is divided into four sections: "Station Market, Town Front, River Front, and Terrace Market."
There are many katakana words, aren't there? Haha.
And, there's a place to sit and relax, located across the connecting passage towards Futako Tamagawa Park on the 4th floor of the Terrace Market, where there's a Medaka pond and 109 Cinemas.

Wooden benches that can accommodate about 40 people are installed.
You'll see them if you proceed in the opposite direction from the movie theater, but it might be a bit hard to find, so we recommend checking the route using the following search.
The benches you see in the rooftop garden of Futako-Tamagawa are distinctive, with a stylish structure where the seating surface is made of stacked stones enclosed by a wire frame.
It seems this structure of wire mesh containing stones is called a gabion.
It sounds like it could be a name of an ultra monster...
It's durable and uses natural materials, making it easy to maintain.
I've never seen it used as a bench before; さすが二子玉川! (さすが Futako-Tamagawa!)
The wall of the passage is transparent glass, so you can overlook the central plaza from this resting place.
As for the congestion situation, I checked around 2:00 PM on a Saturday, and there were no users.
According to the admin, Penta's, guess, this resting place probably won't get crowded...
It seems like a good use case to buy a book at the Tsutaya Electrics on the lower floor and read it here leisurely.
Isn't that just like Nikotama?
Also, the "Rooftop Garden 5F Open Field Plaza, Open-Air Deck" nearby is a resting spot that I highly recommend in Futako-Tamagawa, so please stop by!
So, why not use this as a place to sit and rest in Futako-Tamagawa when shopping at Futako Tamagawa Rise?
