Matsuya Ginza, a long-established department store, has two buildings: the Main Building and the Maronie Street Building. Today, we'll be exploring the rooftop area of the Main Building.
To get to Matsuya Ginza, you can access it from Ginza Station's A12 or A13 exit.
And, let's head to the RF (rooftop floor) from the elevator on the Chuo-dori side inside Matsuya!

A relaxing oasis in Ginza awaits you on the rooftop!
There are many tables and chairs with parasols for 3-4 people, perfect for families with children to take a break.
The Cartier sign gives off a true Ginza vibe!

Near the entrance to the rooftop floor, there are artistic table chairs that look like a cabbage field.
These wire chairs with backs are unique. They're quite cute.
How comfortable are they...? Well, that's for you to find out when you visit (laughs)

There's a vegetable garden on the rooftop of Matsuya Ginza, and when Pen-ta visited, rapeseed flowers were in bloom.
Depending on the season, you might see eggplants, making it a soothing spot even in the heart of the city.

Also, there are clean restrooms on the rooftop, which is very convenient!
It's always nice when the restrooms are clean, isn't it?

The rooftop plaza also has the "Matsuya Ginza Golf Terrace," making it an enjoyable spot for golf lovers.
There is also a sheltered rest area on the elevator floor side.
The great thing is that you can take a break away from direct sunlight and use it even when the weather is unstable!

Happily, there are also tables for four people under the eaves.
Lights are installed on the wall to illuminate the resting area, creating a nice atmosphere♪

Many department store rooftops have shrines for business prosperity, and Matsuya has Ryuko Fudo-son enshrined.
It is said that those who visit can receive blessings for wishes, family safety, and business prosperity.
Ryuko... Ah, you could say it's in tune with what's trending!

It's a convenient rooftop for eating a boxed lunch purchased from the depachika (basement food hall) in Matsuya or taking a leisurely break in Ginza.
I wonder if they open the parasols on the tables during the summer.
Also, you can use the Ginza area free Wi-Fi "G Free" on the rooftop floor, making it suitable for remote work.
Also, be sure to check out the rest area with power outlets "Matsuya Ginza Main Building RF in front of the elevator" on the rooftop floor!
So, why not use it as a place to sit and take a break around Ginza while shopping at Matsuya?
