Ginza Six is one of the commercial facilities (Ginza Five, Ginza Nine) in the Ginza numbering system located under the JR line guard, and it is a 13-story department store that opened in April 2017 along Ginza Street, breaking away from under the guard.
It is also a challenging commercial facility that has introduced a "tenant system" of space rental from the "purchasing system" of department stores.
To get to Ginza Six, you can access it from Exit A2 or A3 of Ginza Station, and it is located next to Ginza Core.
(For some reason, Exit A3 is always under construction, so it's best to walk from Exit A2.)
Ginza Six has floors from B2F to 13F, and the rooftop garden is above the 13th floor, so let's head to the rooftop using the elevator in the building.

When you get off the elevator and step into the rooftop garden...
"There's a beautiful lawn on top of the building! It's different from the rooftops of department stores I've seen before!?"

And, next to it is a water surface floor! (Foot washing area)
I often see flowing water objects, but this kind of floor type is new to me.
I couldn't help but mutter, "I see, so this is Ginza."

If you have children with you, I think they can have fun here by going barefoot and splashing around♪
I saw some people playing in the photo earlier!
It might be a good idea to visit as a cool space in Ginza in the summer.

There were stone benches near the lawn and water surface!
It was open and spacious, and I was able to take a break comfortably.
As a warning on the seating surface, it was written, "May become hot in summer."
It's okay, I visited at the end of August, and my butt didn't get burned.

If you go around the corridor along the glass windows, there is a wooden bench that can seat about 10 people!
This rest area is great, and above all, the cityscape of Ginza spreads out in front of the bench!?
The scenery is also perfect, and it is recommended for a date in Ginza!

Not only the scenery, but also pay attention to the planting around the bench!
There are many different plants in this area alone, and the atmosphere is good, with cute flowers blooming!
When you are strolling through the corridor, you might be surprised to find cherry trees. (It's on the rooftop of a building in the city center, you know?)

Oh yes, I'll also include the view through the glass.
The high-rise building on the left is the Mitsui Garden Hotel, and the blue building in front is Caretta Shiodome.
It looks like it would be photogenic at night...

By the way, the rooftop garden of Ginza Six is about 4,000㎡, so it's quite spacious!
You might ask, "How much is 4,000...?"
I've found more than 1,000 rest areas so far, and I'll just say that it's the widest rooftop among them.

Well, in addition to the corridor area, there is also a forest area!
Somehow, the trees and plants are very dense, making it a Ginza jungle!
Lighting is installed here and there for nighttime illumination.

There are platforms and tables around, so you can sit and take a break!

This long stone bench is perfect for taking a break.
You can also use it as a place to eat your Ginza lunch box while surrounded by nature!
"I wonder if bugs and mosquitoes are okay even though there are so many trees..."
You might think, but because it is on the 14th floor, I didn't see any at all, even at the end of August.
Was it just a coincidence??

Since we are on the rooftop, I will introduce a little more of the scenery.
The high-rise building on the left is the Kabukiza Tower, and the European-style building in front is the Ginza Ito Building.
I was attracted to the distinctive appearance of the Ito Building, but I found out that it was a normal office building when I looked it up.

It looks like a regular Ginza cityscape at first glance...
The administrator, Penta, found it! A power spot for matchmaking and love in Ginza!

If you zoom in...
It's a heart mark! Isn't this amazing!?
This is a power spot for love that can only be seen from Ginza Six!
(Please, don't copy this, some curation site, haha)

So, after you calm down a little, visit Kakugo Inari Shrine at the corner of the corridor.
There is usually a shrine on the rooftop of a department store.

Oh yes, originally, Matsuzakaya Ginza was located here.
And the shrine that was on the rooftop of Matsuzakaya was moved to the rooftop of Ginza Six.

From the rooftop of Ginza Six, people and cars look small, like a diorama of a railway model.
It was more interesting to see it from this height than from the tower because it felt more realistic.
The rooftop garden of Ginza Six is open from 7:00 to 23:00, so you can also enjoy the night view of Ginza.
It's wonderful to be able to see the night view of the high-rise buildings in Ginza while sitting on a bench!
Of course, you can also see Tokyo Tower and Skytree, so there doesn't seem to be a spot where you can enjoy the night view this much for free.
So, it is recommended for sightseeing in Ginza and dates in Ginza!
Also, the "Indoor rest area on the 13th floor of GINZA SIX (Ginza Six)" located down the outdoor stairs of the rooftop garden is also highly recommended, so please stop by!
So, why not use it as a place to sit and take a break around Ginza while you're shopping at Ginza Six?
