"Let's Explore Hakata!"
Right next to Kushida Shrine, you'll find the Hakata Machiya Folk Museum.
At the museum, you can learn about the history of Hakata town and the culture of events like Gion Yamakasa.

It feels like you've suddenly come to your grandma's house.
This is the Machiya building, where you can take off your shoes and come and go freely.

Eating and drinking are not allowed. You can use it from 10:00 to 18:00.

It was very relaxing. You can enjoy the Japanese style.

If you peek at the side of the Machiya, there's a bench in the alley.

A postbox from the Meiji era. You can't mail anything, but you can enjoy the atmosphere of the old days.

Speaking of the stage for Hakata's festivals, isn't it Kushida Shrine next door?
Let's sit next to the cool guys.
So, why not use these spots as resting places around Gion Station?
