This is a bench located in the southeast of the Tenjingawa Shijo intersection.
It's at the northern end of the promenade on the east bank of the Tenjingawa River, which extends south to near Saiin Station.

It's a small space with two wooden benches for two people each.
There are sunshades designed with a Japanese umbrella motif (though they don't seem like they'd offer much rain protection).
Across Tenjingawa-dori, there's a Lawson convenience store, which is convenient for getting food and drinks.

Since the river is shallow, herons often come here, which is quite soothing.

Although Tenjingawa isn't a scenic tourist spot, it's a well-known place for cherry blossoms among the locals. So, it might be a good hidden gem for those who want to enjoy cherry blossom viewing during the cherry blossom season without the crowds of tourist spots.
