There's a moving walkway connecting the Act Tower to the exhibition hall.
You'll see the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments on your left as a landmark.

Next to the moving walkway, you'll find a fan-shaped plaza with benches arranged around it.
There's plenty of space here, making it easy for families with children to use.

The benches are made of stone tiles and are in good condition. It's a convenient spot for meeting or gathering when you have business at the exhibition hall!
However, there's nothing to provide shade, so the direct sunlight can be a bit harsh in the summer.
There's a FamilyMart across the intersection downstairs, where you can grab a bento (boxed lunch) to eat.
If you're looking for a larger rest area, there's also a place like this one.
So, why not give this place a try as a relaxing spot near Hamamatsu Station?
