The Shiodome Shibarikyu Building is a 21-story high-rise building mainly consisting of offices, and it houses restaurants, Gold's Gym, and Berlitz.
It's located right in front of the former Shiba Rikyu Gardens and is adjacent to the Hamarito Building in Shiodome.
To get to the Shiodome Shibarikyu Building, head out of the north exit of Hamamatsucho Station, turn right onto the main street leading to Zojoji Temple, and then proceed a little towards Takeshiba. You'll see it soon!
There's a spot where you can sit and take a break on the JR railway side of the outdoor deck on the 2F floor where Gold's Gym is located.

Five waist-height benches were installed in the planting area on the right side of the photo.
On the left, you'll see the JR lines and the Shinkansen tracks, and in between the buildings in front, you'll see the Yurikamome tracks, and high-rise buildings.
Don't you think it's a pretty good view?!
By the way, what kind of benches are they?

They're waist-height benches like these, located in a place surrounded by greenery.
The seats are wide, so two people can sit side by side.
The seating comfort is average, but it was surprisingly convenient because you can put your luggage behind the bench.

Wow! You can see the Tokaido Shinkansen while sitting on the bench!
I'm not a train otaku, but it was quite enjoyable to watch the Shinkansen speeding by.
Of course, you can also see the local lines (Yamanote Line).

Wow! This time you can see the Yurikamome! Haha
The curved tracks are very photogenic, aren't they?
By the way, this is Hamamatsucho, so you might mistake it for the Tokyo Monorail, but since it goes to Takeshiba, it's the Yurikamome.
By the way, the luxury apartment, La Tour Shiodome, is visible on the right. A 3LDK apartment on the 50th floor costs over 1 million yen in rent... Amazing!
So, it's a busy bench where you can see the Shinkansen and the Yurikamome, but children who love trains will surely be delighted!
I also recommend it as a place to eat your lunch from Hamamatsucho. Let's enjoy an ekiben (box lunch sold at train stations) while watching the Shinkansen!
Also, nearby, we recommend the "Hamasite 1F/2F rest area next to the escalator" which has the only table seats in Hamamatsucho, so please stop by!
That's all! Why not use this as a relaxing spot in the Hamamatsucho area?
