To get to Hatsushima, take the bus from platform ⑦ at Atami Station to Atami Port.
From Atami Port, take a high-speed ferry, and you'll arrive at Hatsushima Port in about 30 minutes.
The high-speed ferry departs from Atami Port approximately every 1.5 hours.
Head towards the area lined with seafood restaurants, and walk along the walkway towards Hatsushima Island Resort, where you'll find a place to sit and relax.

There are many wooden benches installed.
Since there is a walkway along the coastline, you can enjoy the view of the sea spreading out before you from the benches.
Also, low palm trees are planted around the benches, giving it a tropical atmosphere.
Regarding the congestion, when I checked around lunchtime on weekends and holidays, there were 4 people using them.
Since Hatsushima doesn't have a sandy beach, I don't think the area around the benches gets very crowded.
Hatsushima actually has surprisingly few benches.
On the island resort side, there were only wooden benches hidden in the bushes on the way to the Hatsushima Lighthouse, or the hammocks at the paid Asian Garden R-Asia.
It felt more like a developed resort area rather than a wild island.
The benches I introduced this time are the ones I would most recommend in Hatsushima, so please use them when you visit for sightseeing.
Also, if you're looking for tables, the "Table seats in front of Hatsushima Fisharena" are spacious and usually available, so be sure to check them out as well.
So, why not use these spots as relaxing places to sit and rest in Hatsushima?
