Ushigome-Mitsuke remains are located along Waseda Street, between Ushigome Bridge and the Iidabashi Station Police Box. Nearby is Iidabashi Sakura Terrace.
Ushigome-Mitsuke was a strategic point for transportation in the Edo period, connecting Tayasu Gate and Joshu Road. However, most of the stone walls were removed in the Meiji era, and now only the stone walls on both sides of Waseda Street and the bridge abutments remain.
And, there's a seating area on the police box side of the Ushigome-Mitsuke remains.

There are four single-seater stone benches installed.

Since it's close to the station, there's a lot of foot traffic, and it's in a conspicuous location, so you might not feel very relaxed using it for a break. However, it seems perfect for meeting up with someone in Iidabashi.
Also, nearby there are "Table seats near Doutor on the 2nd floor of Ramla," so please consider them as well.
Why not try using it as a place to take a break around Iidabashi?
