To get to the Ikebukuro Tobu Department Store, you can access it from the underground shopping mall on the west exit side or from the ground level. You can also access it via the connecting passage from Lumine.
On the 8th floor outdoor area of Tobu Department Store, there is the Sky Deck Plaza, which has a food court and an artificial lawn space.
Many wooden benches and tables are available.
When I checked around 3:00 PM on a Saturday, the tables were popular and about 80% were occupied.
It gets quite crowded on holidays, but it seems that the turnover is relatively fast, so it seems you can avoid the situation of not having a place to sit.
There is a food court, so it's recommended when you want to eat lunch boxes or have a meal in Ikebukuro.
It can also be used as a date spot in Ikebukuro.
Furthermore, you can access the 9th floor from the Sky Deck Plaza via the outside stairs.
There is also a wide artificial lawn and benches around the Bodies Ikebukuro Tobu Studio, which are available.
If the Sky Deck Plaza is crowded, "Tobu 9F Bodies area resting place with seating" is also recommended.
Please note that since it is an outdoor plaza, unfortunately, there is no rain or sun protection.
