Did you know that Inagi-Naganuma Station is the starting point for the Nambu Line? There are several trains during the morning rush hour.
Well, Inagi-Naganuma Station has changed its look, going from a small wooden station to an elevated one!
It's also a major station representing Inagi City, located just 2km from Inagi City Hall.

Inagi-Naganuma Station boasts a sleek, streamlined design.
Though it might seem like there's not much going on... beneath the elevated tracks, you'll find "Inagi Information Base Pear Terrace," which offers local information and a cafe.
And for all you Gundam fans, there are Gundam and Zaku monuments!
For more details, check out the official website.

And right in front of the station is "Inagi Pear Park," a park with a lovely name.
It opened on March 24, 2019, so it's a pretty recent addition. I was surprised when I just happened to visit!
The object that looks like it's traveling through time is the "Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower."
By the way, Inagi is famous for its pears and pear picking! Did you know that?

And Pear Park has plenty of stools and benches.
There are trees dotted throughout the spacious area. Since there aren't many people around, you can relax and take a break.

It had rained recently, so the seats were wet, but these stools can be used as toilets in case of a disaster!
Loosen the bolts and remove the seat, and it transforms into a toilet! That was a first for me.

There are also many two-seater benches.
And since NewDays is located outside the ticket gates of Inagi-Naganuma Station, you can use it as a place to eat your lunch or grab a meal.
It's also a great spot to meet up at in Inagi-Naganuma. (How about visiting during pear-picking season?)
So, why not use the area around Inagi-Naganuma Station as a place to rest and relax?
