Tucked away in the residential area of Yaraicho, just off Ushigome-Chuo Street, you'll find Yarai Park.

Located on the back side of the Mizuho Bank's company housing, "Yaraicho Heights," this park is close to Waseda Street.

The park has enough space for children to run around, and it also features a jungle gym and a slide.
It's bustling with families on weekends.

Yarai Park is also equipped with a "rainwater storage and infiltration facility" that temporarily stores water during heavy rain.

Along the edge of the park, there are wooden benches for two people lined up. The ground is covered with gravel.
There are also circular benches around the trees.

Cute little birds and benches!

Actually, Yarai Park is the birthplace of Genpaku Sugita. There is a stone monument commemorating his birth, along with a squirrel family statue.

Also, the area adjacent to the east of Yarai Park is the former residence of Kiyokata Kaburaki, a Japanese painter.
So, why not visit and use it as a resting spot around Kagurazaka Station?
