“La Cittadella” is a complex commercial facility that recreates the atmosphere of an Italian town, with restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, and a live music venue.
To get to La Cittadella, go from the JR Kawasaki Station East Exit, on the LeFRONT side, cross the Kawasaki Station South Intersection, and walk towards the Dai-ichi Keihin highway. You'll see it then!
And, there's a resting area with seating on the 3rd floor sky bridge, which can be found after walking through the Maggiore corridor.
※Maggiore means "large".

There are two 2-seater wooden benches installed.
Since it's a sky bridge, it's an open area where you can see the entire La Cittadella.
This is a resting place with a great view, where you can overlook the Yodobashi Camera in Kawasaki LeFRONT and the Atre area of Kawasaki Station!
“Is this really Kawasaki!?”
I couldn't help but mutter with a smile.
The benches are the same type as those placed in the corridor leading to this resting area.
The planters with the plants next to the benches are stylish, aren't they?
This sky bridge and corridor are themed after a medieval hill town in Italy, making this an overall pleasant resting area.
Now, let's take a look at the benches in the back.

Next to this bench, there's approach lighting embedded in the wall.
It has a nice feel to it, and it really is one of Kawasaki's most stylish spots.
By the way, at the end of this bench, there's a building called "VIVACE" that houses esthetics and fitness facilities.

Now, here's the view of the resting place from the VIVACE side.
You can see the attention to detail in the exterior of the shopping street, and the lighting is also stylish, isn't it?
With the approach lighting on the sky bridge creating a nice ambiance, you might even be able to enjoy a romantic atmosphere at night while gazing at Kawasaki's nightscape!?
La Cittadella has a structure reminiscent of Canal City Hakata and Namba Parks.
And then, I found out that the facility was designed by "Jerde Partnership," a design company formerly headed by American architect John Jerde.
Canal City, Namba Parks, and La Cittadella are all projects by the same company.
As for the congestion situation, I checked on weekends and holidays in the evening, and there were no users.
It's surprisingly empty, so it's recommended if you want to take a break in Kawasaki.
Also, it seems like it could be used as a dating spot in Kawasaki!
By the way, the "La Cittadella Maggiore 2F Corridor" leading up to this point is also recommended, so please stop by!
So, why not use La Cittadella as a resting place with seating when you're shopping in Kawasaki?
