Let's head south from Koenji Station, passing through the Pal Shopping Street and Kounan-dori Street.

You'll find the former Takarashita Bridge of the Taonogawa Greenway where it intersects with Minami-Chuo-dori Street. The Taonogawa River, which once had spring water, is now an ankyo (underground waterway).

There are two four-seater stone benches at the entrance of the greenway.
They're perfect for a rest while shopping at the Pal Shopping Street or taking a walk.

There's a cute statue of a duck family nearby.
Why not look for it while strolling along the greenway?
So, why not use these spots as resting places around Koenji Station?
