Komae Station has an elevated Odakyu Line, so there are no railroad crossings, making it easy to travel between the North and South exits.
The ticket gates lead to the North Exit on the left. This is the side with the Ecorma Hall and the City Hall.

There's a walking path called the Fureai Sidewalk along the elevated Odakyu Line.
Besides chain stores, I also found a cafe along the way.

Now, if you look from the Fureai Sidewalk towards the lush greenery, you'll see benches lined up.
They are two-seater wooden benches.
"Wait a minute, aren't the benches facing the wrong way?" you might think, but they are actually positioned to allow you to enjoy the bamboo grove and the greenery!
This area is called Komae Benzaiten Ryokuchi, and the Benten Pond is one of the highlights.

There are flower planters on the back, so you don't have to worry about the crowds♪
It's close to the station, making it a convenient meeting spot in Komae.
If you want to relax in a slightly wider space, the plaza in front of the station is also recommended.
So, why not try these places as resting spots around Komae Station?
