"The collaboration of the storehouse and benches is great"
You'll find Teramachi Ryokuchi (Teramachi Green Space) a short walk from the north exit of Matsue Station towards Teramachi.

Suddenly, a spacious area appears. This is Teramachi Ryokuchi.

There are several tables and benches near the storehouse.
Since Teramachi is nearby, there are many temples, and the scenery has a very Japanese feel.

The collaboration of the stone benches and the storehouse is wonderful.

Actually, it's not a storehouse, but the Matsue Doutsu Denshokan (Matsue Drum Tradition Hall).
In Matsue, drums are called "Dou" (鼕).

Next to the Denshokan, there's an exhibition space for "Dou" and an explanatory TV. Surprisingly, it supports multiple languages. It felt a bit Showa era, though.

It's fun to learn about the history of the Matsue "Dou".

There were also benches near the Teramachi intersection.
So, why not use these as resting spots near Matsue Station?
