"Sashimi Takeout"
There's a wooden deck on the Kanmon Straits side in front of Karato Market.

The wooden deck continues along the coast of the strait like this.

The area right in front of Karato Market can be crowded, so if you walk a little towards Akama Shrine, it's much less crowded.

Eating sashimi and sushi you bought at Karato Market on the deck benches is the Karato style.

You can relax and gaze at the view of the Kanmon Bridge from the deck.

There's also a statue of the fugu (pufferfish) auction.
So, why not use this as a relaxing rest area around Mojiko Station?
