Motoyawata, where the Sobu Line, Toei Shinjuku Line, and Keisei Line intersect, is a historic town centered around Katsushika Hachimangu Shrine, with large commercial facilities like the Shapo and Patio.
Now, in Motoyawata, there is a large shopping center called "Nikke Colton Plaza".
To get to Colton Plaza, head east from the South Exit of Motoyawata Station, but there's also a free bus from the North Exit!
By the way, "Nikke" seems to come from Nihon Keori (Japan Wool Textile). (It was originally the site of the Nikke Nakayama factory)
And, there's a place on the 2nd floor of Colton Plaza where you can sit and take a break!

The 2nd floor has shopping areas like Tower Court, Sky Court, and West Court, with single and double sofas and bench sofas scattered around!

These sofas have armrests, so they're perfect for resting when you're tired from shopping!

In the middle of the passage, there were also thick cushion sofa benches with plants.
It seems suitable for families with children to take a break!
Also, when it's full, there are benches and sofas on the 3rd floor, so check those out too!
So, why not try using these as places to take a seat and rest around Motoyawata Station?
