Motoyawata, where the JR Sobu Line, Toei Shinjuku Line, and Keisei Line intersect, is a historic town centered around Katsushika Hachimangu Shrine, with large commercial facilities like the Shapo and Patio.
Speaking of Motoyawata, there's a large shopping center called "Nikke Colton Plaza".
To get to Colton Plaza, head east from the South Exit of Motoyawata Station, but there's also a free shuttle bus from the North Exit!
By the way, "Nikke" comes from Nihon Keori (Japan Wool Textile). (It was originally the site of the Nikke Nakayama factory)
And, there's a place to sit and rest on the 3rd floor of Colton Plaza, near the ABC Mart escalator!

There's a bench sofa that can accommodate about 10 people!
Since it's in the shopping area, I think it's good to remember this if you want to take a break with your family while shopping!
Also, free Wi-Fi is available, so it might be convenient for fathers who are waiting while their family shops, haha.
Also, if it's full, there are benches and sofas on the 2nd floor, so check those out too!
So, why not use this spot as a place to sit and rest near Motoyawata Station?
