Motoyawata, where the Sobu Line, Toei Shinjuku Line, and Keisei Line intersect, is a historic town centered around Katsushika Hachimangu Shrine, with large commercial facilities like the "Chapeau" and "Patio" lining the streets.
Now, in Motoyawata, there's the large shopping center "Nikke Colton Plaza."
To get to Colton Plaza, head east from the South Exit of Motoyawata Station, but there's also a free bus from the North Exit!
By the way, "Nikke" comes from Nihon Keori (Japan Wool Textile), as it was originally the site of Nikke's Nakayama factory.
And, on the 1st floor of Colton Plaza, near Konami Sports Club and next to Ginza Aster, there is Colton Square.

Colton Square has benches that can accommodate about 20 people.
Looking at the benches from the side, the handrails and legs are integrated into an Ω shape, making them a very design-conscious chair!
There's a stream and a fountain nearby, so it seems like a great spot for families to take a break!
If you're planning to shop at Colton Plaza, it could be a good meeting spot!
So, why not consider using this as a resting place around Motoyawata Station?
