Motoyawata, where the Sobu Line, Toei Shinjuku Line, and Keisei Line intersect, is a historic town centered around Katsushika Hachimangu Shrine, with large commercial facilities like the "Chapeau" and "Patio" lining the streets.
Now, in Motoyawata, there is a large shopping center called "Nikke Colton Plaza."
To get to Colton Plaza, head east from the South Exit of Motoyawata Station, but there is also a free shuttle bus from the North Exit!
By the way, "Nikke" comes from Nihon Keori (Japan Wool Textile), which owned the land where the shopping center is built on the former site of Nikke's Nakayama factory.
And, there's a place where you can sit and take a break in the Tower Court area of Colton Plaza!

There are benches and sofas that can accommodate about 20 people.
With the plants behind you, it creates a green environment even though it's indoors. It's nice not to have to worry about what's behind you.
This rest area has an atrium, providing a sense of openness!
It seems like a good place to use with your family, or as a meeting spot when you are shopping.
So, how about using it as a place to sit and take a break around Motoyawata Station?
