Mukogaoka-Yuen is a convenient station with the Odakyu Line's first train and express and commuter express trains stopping here.
It's a student town, with access to the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum, Ikuta Ryokuchi Park, and the Ikuta campus of Meiji University and Senshu University.
And it's also worth noting that Mukogaoka-Yuen Station is quite close to Noborito Station on the Nambu Line.
Now, there's a place to sit and rest in the plaza in front of the rotary at the south exit of Mukogaoka-Yuen Station!
There is a circular stone bench near the rotary that can accommodate about 5-8 people.
Look for the yellow TSUTAYA sign!
I've seen students use it as a meeting place for groups. (Pen-ta's old memory)
Also, there are two-seater wooden benches scattered along the right-hand side of the south exit, leading to Life.
It's convenient for a short break or a meeting spot in front of Mukogaoka-Yuen Station.
By the way, Mukogaoka-Yuen has more restaurants, izakayas, and commercial facilities like Daiei than Noborito Station.
There's even a bowling alley!
Also, it seems like it could be used as a meeting place when visiting Ikuta Ryokuchi Park. Many tourists visit when the Rose Garden is open.
So, why not use it as a resting place around Mukogaoka-Yuen Station?
