Unlike the south exit, the north exit of Mukogaoka-Yuen Station has a slightly more relaxed atmosphere.
There's a towerマンション in front of Mukogaoka-Yuen Station, along with Tokyu Store, Tama Ward Office, and a popular local bakery called "Cetune Bon Nide".
Now, the Tama Library that we'll be introducing is located on the B1F of the Tama Ward Office.
To get to the Tama Library, head towards Tsukui Road from the north exit of Mukogaoka-Yuen Station. You'll see the ward office near Maibasuketto and Kusuri no Nakayama.
And, when you enter the patio from the Tama Library reading room, you'll find benches where you can sit and take a break!
There were two resin benches, each with 12 seats.
Even though there were quite a few seats, when Pen-ta visited on a holiday, he was the only one there... Is it a hidden gem?
There was also a trash can on the left side of the photo, but it wasn't clear whether eating and drinking was allowed.

And in front of the benches, there was a monument.
I forgot the name of the artwork, but I think it's a symbolic object representing the Tama Library and the Tama Ward Office.

It seems nice to relax and read a book while looking at the object♪
The seat is hard, but since there weren't many people, I was able to relax and take a break, so I'd like to visit again if I have the chance!
By the way, the outside stairs visible on the left were closed. Perhaps to prevent people from taking library books outside...?
Also, the opening hours of the Tama Library are...
Weekdays: 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Weekends and holidays: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and the library is closed on the third Monday of the month.
It's convenient because the library is open on weekends. (For more details, please visit the official HP)
Also, be sure to check out the benches near the bus stop at the Tama Ward Office!
So, why not use it as a resting place where you can sit down around Mukogaoka-Yuen Station?
