Speaking of Musashi-Kosugi, it's well-known that the transfer between the Nambu Line, Tokyu Lines, and Yokosuka/Shonan-Shinjuku Lines can be quite a walk! Originally, this area was the Hinatsuru Line, part of the Tokaido Freight Line, so a station for passengers wasn't initially planned.

Now, near the Yokosuka Line entrance of the New South ticket gate at Musashi-Kosugi, you'll find NEC Tamagawa Works right next door, with an entrance for employees close by.

You can see the large shopping complex, Grand Tree, in the back, and the road, Tsunashima Kaido, is right in front.
Today, we're introducing a rest area. It's the public space of the Musashi-Kosugi Building, located across the Yokosuka Line entrance rotary, just before the Tsunashima Kaido.

There's a space for taking a break in one corner of the building's entrance. It's a bench that makes good use of the step heights of the stairs.

The sides are separated by glass railings, and it's definitely set up as a rest space.
In front of the bench, there's a popular garden tree, the Japanese Island Ash, which is illuminated by spotlights at night.

The seating surface is made of smooth stone. There are plants behind the bench, so you don't have to worry about what's behind you, which is nice!
Actually, the administrator, Pen-ta, was working on his computer here for a little while!
By the way, there's a convenience store, Daily Yamazaki, and Pronto nearby.
It seems convenient for meeting people, or for eating your packed lunch, when you have business at the Musashi-Kosugi Building.
So, why not consider using this as a seating rest area around Musashi-Kosugi Station?
