When you exit the west exit of Musashi-Kosugi Station and head towards Fuchu Kaido, you'll see the Proud Tower just before the Nakahara Ward Office.

There is a bench for three people right next to the parking lot of the Nakahara Ward Office.

The legs were made of stone and the seating surface was weather-resistant. It's relatively new and clean, isn't it?
In front of the bench, you can see the Nambu Line on the elevated track, so you can take a break while watching the Nambu Line.

There were also plantings such as camellias and stools in the surrounding area.
It takes about 6 minutes from Musashi-Kosugi to the Nakahara Ward Office, so it might be a good place to take a break when visiting the ward office.
As a side note, there is a rare spot nearby with a public phone with two handsets. Currently, the duet phone is only here, so why not visit it!?
Speaking of other nearby attractions, just across Fuchu Kaido, there is the Nikaryo Irrigation Channel, which drew water from the Tama River for agriculture during the Edo period.
Kosugi Jinyamachi, located on the north side of Musashi-Kosugi, was the very base of the Nikaryo Irrigation Channel.
So, why not use it as a resting place with seating around Musashi-Kosugi Station?
