Musashi-Nitta is a station on the Tokyu Tamagawa Line, and is located near Kanpachi-dori and Route 1, the Second Keihin.
Musashi-Nitta is famous for the matchmaking Nitta Shrine!
What's amazing about Nitta Shrine for matchmaking is that the cut ends of the branches are already hearts. #NittaShrine pic.twitter.com/qBE8MCSz6F

Yaguchi Minami Children's Park, which I'll be introducing this time, is right next to Nitta Shrine.
To get to Nitta Shrine, go along the shopping street on the opposite side of Kanpachi-dori, pass Ota Yaguchi 1st Post Office, and it's located in the middle of a residential area.

The main hall of Nitta Shrine. Actually, it's also the birthplace of Hamaya (sacred arrows)!
Let's get some power from the sacred tree nearby ♪ It's truly a power spot in Tokyo!
And Yaguchi Minami Children's Park is located in front of Nitta Shrine.

It's a small park nestled in a residential area, but it's long in the back.
It may seem unassuming at first glance, but it has various features.
I feel like it's been a while since I've seen a cylindrical public restroom like the one on the right side of the photo!!

There was a sheep in the center of a fig-like object….
I wonder why a sheep, and what does this object mean? Hmm, it's contemporary art.
I looked it up, and it was part of the "Tamagawa Art Line Project."
It seems that various art related to the community is exhibited along the Tokyu Tamagawa Line!
And this sheep is a work called "Botan" by sculptor Motoka Watanabe.

There were single-seater benches installed under the pergola where you can sit and rest.
It's perfect for a break when visiting Nitta Shrine.
There were many people in their 30s and 40s, both men and women, who seemed to be waiting for their Goshuin (temple stamp).

There was a slide as playground equipment.
It seems like it would be a good place for children to play here when visiting Nitta Shrine for Shichi-Go-San (a traditional festival for children). (I wonder if their clothes will get dirty)
Even so, Yaguchi Minami Children's Park seems to have a blue as its base color. There are many blue colorings.

Another liquid metal sheep. It looks like the animal version of T-1000.
I realized later, the placement of these sheep is excellent.
That is…

The sheep is gazing at the tallest tree in the park.
"Climb up the blue stepped benches... and jump towards the tree!
But it doesn't reach.... I want to climb that tree and see the view from up high."
That's what I imagine it is! It's Penda's imagination!
So, Yaguchi Minami Children's Park and Nitta Shrine were full of discoveries.
That's all for now. How about using this as a resting place near Musashi-Nitta and Nitta Shrine?
