“The bench watched over by the old gentleman”

There's a circular bench located a short walk from the north exit, along the elevated tracks. The space in front of the bench is quite spacious, and there are many seats, so it's a convenient spot to remember.

Next to the bench, you'll find the symbolic statue of the old gentleman!
The explanatory plaque says:
"With his top hat and mustache, this classic old gentleman lifts his hat slightly in a stylish greeting.
In the morning, he says, 'Have a good day. Do your best today.'
In the evening, he says, 'Welcome home. Thank you for your hard work today.'
It seems he is cheering us on."
The statue was originally located at a bicycle parking area, and it seems the message is, "Even without dressing like a gentleman, how about responding to the gentleman's spirit by keeping the bicycle parking area clean?"

There's a Gyomu Supermarket nearby, so it might be nice to eat your lunch at this bench.
Also, someone visited the old gentleman statue on YouTube. I think you'll get a sense of the atmosphere right away if you watch the video!
So, how about using this spot as a place to sit and relax near Musashi-Sakai Station?
