This time, we will introduce JR Nagoya Takashimaya in JR Central Towers.
Now, to get to Takashimaya, go towards the Sakura-dori Exit of the concourse in front of the ticket gates, and you will see the escalators and the Golden Clock.
And on both sides of the Golden Clock, there is the Takashimaya entrance of JR Central Towers!
The Golden Clock is famous as a meeting place in Nagoya.
If you come from the Shinkansen, you will be on the Taiko-dori Exit side, so go straight towards the Sakura-dori Exit on the other side.
And, inside the Takashimaya building, there are places to sit in the rest area called Rose Patio, which is located near the center of the 3F to 9F floors.

The Rose Patio has a different atmosphere on each floor, and the types of seats and congestion also differ.
In addition, eating and drinking is prohibited on all floors. (※However, this does not include rest areas with vending machines.)
Rose Patio is close to Nagoya Station, but has a large number of seats, making it a recommended place to take a break while shopping and as a meeting place in Nagoya.
It was Nagoya's top recommendation for a break space at the time of the 2018 survey, but it has been downsized due to renovation work and temporary operation of tenants.
However, it would be convenient to remember it when using Takashimaya for sightseeing or business trips in Nagoya.
Also, there is a "Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall Rose Terrace rest area" in the neighboring tower, so please stop by as well!
